CHILDREN

Nursery –
We refer to our nursery as ‘ministry to the youngest among us’. Our nursery at Heritage is staffed with loving volunteers that strive to offer quality care in a comforting environment for our babies and toddlers. Our desire is to provide a nursery that babies love and parents trust. Nursery care is provided during each of our three weekly services and for our Sunday Morning classes.

Preschool –
Our preschool ministry focuses on our 3, 4, and 5 year old children. This is an exciting time for children as their curiosity and ability to learn increase dramatically. We have lessons and a classroom designed specifically for this age group.

Children –
Jesus insisted for His disciples to allow the children to come to Him. This reveals so much to us concerning Jesus’ true nature and personality. It also makes a powerful statement concerning the importance of children having access to the things of God. We make it fun for children to come to Jesus and grow in their relationship with Him.

Youth

Timothy 4:12 says, "Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity."

We call our Heritage youth ministry XAMPL. Taken from I Timothy 4:12, the Bible encourages youth to be an example to and for the Body of Christ. We do not see youth as the church of tomorrow but as a vitally important part of the church of today. Meeting on Monday nights at 7:00 pm our youth service includes worship and word geared toward a youthful audience. In addition to the weekly service we various youth events throughout the calendar year including trips and fellowships.

College & Career

A fellowship group designed for young men and women ages 18-25. It is important for this age group to make a successful transition from teenager to young adult.

Young Married

A fellowship group designed for newlyweds. The early years of a marriage and all the necessary adjustments to married life can at times be difficult. It is important for young couples to connect with and form healthy friendships within the Body of Christ. Be it potluck, a home Bible study or a group night out to dinner, our young married group is always having lots of fun.

Senior Citizens

The Bible says to give honor to whom honor is due. At Heritage we believe in honoring our Senior Citizens. Our monthly senior dinners have become one of our best-attended events. Meeting the last Thursday of each month at 6:00 pm, the church staff prepares the main course and everyone else brings the sides and desserts. Starting at 55 years and older, it has been said that senior night is worth growing old for at Heritage.
